If you ever think that you want to leave this world early, then consider what you would be leaving behind.
Think of every empty space missing your form, of every silence missing your voice.
Think of every future lover that will never feel your touch, of every future friend that will never experience your kindness.
Think of every smile you will never be able to share with another person.
Think of your children, yet unborn, that will never come into being without you.
Think of every memory that will never be made without your mind to experience and store it.
Think of every goal you will not be able to accomplish, of every ideal that you will not be able to strive for, of everything you will never acheive.
Think of every sunrise, every sunset, every summer, fall, winter, and spring that you will not see, and think of what they will be lacking with your absence.
Think of every work of art that will remain unmade without your hands to form it, of every song that will neve be sung without your voice to give it life, of every thought and idea that will never be formed without your mind.
Think of all you are capable of, of all the good and beautiful things you can do.
Think of everything that makes you laugh, think of everyone that makes you smile, think of anything at all that brings you joy.
Think of every moment of happiness that you will never be able to experience if you end it all now.
Think of all the regrets, all the emptiness, all the could-have-beens that will be your legacy.
It's not worth it.
I'm not exactly sure if this came out the way I wanted, but thanks for having the incentive to do this.
Just to say it again: it gets better.
